One Day In the Bauges Massif : Family Tour

Departure from the campsite towards the Belvédère du Revard, On the way we recommend a stop at the Fromagerie de Trévignin (40mins) for cheeses lovers!


15 minutes later, we will find freshness at the Belvédère du Revard at an altitude of 1530 m!

Since three skyview platforms were constructed here, the Mont Revard Belvedere offers a 360° panoramic view. A breathtaking view on Le Bourget Lake, Aix les Bains, Le Mont Blanc and and all the massif of the Savoy.






An orientation table allows you to discover all the nature that surrounds you. "Les quatres vallées" restaurant is located next to the Parking, it is open every day (depending on the weather). We advise you to eat there for an incredible view! https://lesquatrevallees.fr/




Going down on the D913A, you will have an inflatable sledge run near the parking.

The minimum age required is 4 years old for the sledge and 6 years old for the Jump.



Next stop « Chéran Islands Leisure Center » 35mins. From the village of Lescheraines follow the indication Base de Loisirs (1.5 km). « Chéran Islands” is a leisure center in Lescheraines, in the middle of the Bauges. It features multiple lakes for swimming, as well as tennis courts, picnic areas, and easy walking trails. When we were there, we walked on a path around the lakes, next to the Chéran River.





We recommend you the walk that will take you to the Pissieu waterfall. A 3h walk (round trip) from the leisure centre. Or by taking the car, 10mins away you will have the car park of the “Cascade de Pissieu” where you will have a 1h walk (round trip) to reach the waterfall.

On the way, Come and discover two breeds of goat on the same farm in the heart of Le Massif des Bauges. You can see them at the farm located on the trail to the Pissieu waterfall.

Farm shop: cheeses and sell wool and a variety of knitted, hand-woven and crocheted products such as scarves, rugs, blankets and jumpers and even items made to order.

Drinks, homemade ice cream and snacks are available throughout the summer.
